Electronica 2008 interconnecting Teknoflex with new customers

The Teknoflex Sales and Marketing team recently returned to the UK in buoyant mood from the Electronica exhibition in Munich, Germany. As the UK’s largest dedicated manufacturer of Flexible and Flex-rigid Multilayer Circuits and Assemblies Teknoflex attracted a significant amount of interest from the global electronics community in its broad technological capability on display at this year’s exhibition. In particular the highly differentiated “Surface Mount Interconnect” (SMI), which is supplied in Tape and Reel format, attracted a huge amount of attention as a low cost, flexible, pick and place-able component for board to board interconnection.

Managing Director, Brian Shorrock was very encouraged by the phenomenal level of interest shown in all of the company’s capabilities stating, “It was an excellent exhibition for Teknoflex with a record number of visitors to our stand, which is reassuring given the current state of the global economic climate.”

Teknoflex, which already has a strong market position, is targeting to build on its success in Europe following the Electronica exhibition and the recent appointment of Andre Nocturne as the company’s new Technical Sales Manger in France and the Benelux countries.
