Teknoflex Testing

Teknoflex, the UK leader in the design, manufacture and assembly of Flexible and Flex- Rigid Multilayer Circuits, has purchased a Cirrus Electrical Testing machine as part of its ongoing capital investment and process improvement programme. This equipment further enhances the quality service offered by Teknoflex, the only UK dedicated Flexible Circuit manufacturer with AS9100 accreditation.

The new electrical test machine further extends the in-house testing facility at Teknoflex offering customers upto 1000V AC and 1500V DC isolation and highpot testing functions. The Cirrus machine can test a multitude of components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, thermistors and more.

The tester has the additional function of using software script to calculate desired computations such as resistance for example, and Teknoflex staff are still finding the limitations to this new capability.

Acquisition of this new electrical testing machine demonstrates the commitment of Teknoflex to further extend and improve its fully integrated circuit manufacture and testing capabilities for the benefit of its ever increasing and wide ranging international customers.
