Teknoflex Designers Forum 2010
Teknoflex Ltd, the UK's largest manufacturer of Flexible Circuits, Sculptured Circuits, Flex-Rigid Multilayer’s and associated Component Assembly recently hosted a second successful Designers Forum conference, in which over ten PCB Designers from international blue chip organisations attended from the Defence, Medical and Aerospace sectors.
Teknoflex successfully hosted its bi-annual Designers Forum event at the Inglenook Hotel, Pagham back in April of this year. The Forum was a concept that evolved as a prerequisite of the SC21 Supply Chains initiative, which aims to streamline the supply chain, harnessing innovation to stimulate a more competitive UK Market in the Defence and Aerospace sectors.
The Forum presented Teknoflex the opportunity to assist customers and potential customers in the key rudiments of flexible circuit design, covering key topic areas such as bend radius considerations, etch compensations and profile dimensions to name but a few.
Keith Netting, Technical Director, enthusiastically stated “we felt the forum was an enormous success and have received positive feedback from all the attendees, with each delegate taking something from the lecture series”.
By working so closely with market sector primes through SC21 Supply Chain scheme, Teknoflex gains key insights into expert knowledge and business processes from established key primes within the defence and aerospace markets. In using this shared tacit knowledge and experience Teknoflex can further develop itself in becoming a world class supplier of flexible circuits.
